April 28, CapitolCut.

At 9:27 pacific daylight you sent me this:  CapitolCut.  It's deGrom and the Yoenis-less Mets catching an Amtrak down to D.C. to face Max ScherZer and the Washington Nationals, tonight at 16:05 pacific daylight.  If you can't be there, if you must be somewhere else, tune into Gary, Ron, and Keith on WPIX or Charlie and Dave on WJFK, 106.7 FM in the Beltway.

...

Travis d'Arnaud buggy-whipped one to left for two runs.  deGrom is sharp so far.  Zimmermann gets him and it's 2-1.  That home run went to right, seemingly off the end of the bat, he's swinging it as well as ever right now.  Murphy talks to the ump.  Murphy, 9.

Wieters tweets one to dead center, B thinks something's up with deGrom.  Where is Wieters from?  HotCut is humming.  Charleston, South Carolina.  Yankees - Orioles, NY broadcast, is going in the kitchen.  CC is pitching.

Toothpick sighting!

d'Arnaud again, a 3-run shot, Mets 5-3.  Mets broadcast: a "career game and it's only the fourth inning."  We've got Blues on the radio now but I don't know how long I'll last.
